Not sure if I posted it yet or not, but this is a shoot I did with Henrique Plantikow around 2015 (?) during the years where I was doing professional modeling.

This is probably the most urgent song that I ever released ("The Infection" via DyingScene.com on May 28, 2014). For the first time in my life, I didn't care as much about whether or not the unveiling of a brand new song of mine was "perfect" or not. I just knew it needed to be released as soon as possible. Putting this song out into the world, at this moment in time, through this exact video - was a direct attempt to help someone else save themselves from their inner demons, and I knew that time was of the essence. There's not much of a happy ending to that story other than the fact that I got to know a very wonderful human being who opened up their heart to me about their struggles. I wish they could have stayed a little longer, but I'm trying to learn to just be grateful for the experiences and brief run-ins I've had and will have with all of the incredible people I got to know in the first place. It makes me feel truly lucky to have known any of them at all, and this way of thinking has had me laughing and feeling good these past few days about someone else very dear to me who passed a while back now. I'm so happy and fortunate to have know them during the years that I did. We're not here for long...any of us. I know that death is inevitable, but I would personally rather wait it out until the very end to see how it all turns out. You really just never know where your life could be in a year. I just hope that this song has helped, or maybe even currently helps people who are struggling, and are still here with us today. It's been a while since I've written out anything like this because I have a lot of pretty intense mental health issues that I'm still working through. Thank you for reading this, and I cannot tell you how much it means to me that any of you are still here after such a long (and still ongoing...) period of musical inactivity from me.
