In the Genshin Aurum Heresy AU, elemental powers are called "bearings" instead of "visions" and are manipulated much like alchemy is from FMA. Each human is born with only one bearing, or none at all. A human who possess a bearing is called a "Bearer." To use every bearing possible is to be titled a "Perfect Bearer." This is unheard of, as it is nearly impossible to be a natural born perfect bearer. The only perfect bearer to have existed was what humans have dictated as "The First Bearer," a dragon who was believed to be the first to have brought bearings into the world. Recovered research has depicted that The First Bearer bore a twin, "The Second Bearer." From The First and Second Bearer stemmed every bearing to eventually pass down to humans before almost the entire dragon population went extinct and fossilized into the earth. When The First Bearer passed, it was said that his scales separated all across the earth's surface, resembling shooting stars. However, history failed to mention that out of jealousy, The First Bearer devoured his twin.

Dottore had started "Project Aurum" years prior to the twin's birth, where he sought to create a man-made perfect bearer using what was left of the First Bearer. All of Dottore's subjects have essentially failed, as combining the essence of The First Bearer into a single-bearing/bearingless human was equivalent to death. Doing so changed the human into a thoughtless, bloodthirsty beast or melted them into nothingness.

At least, until Lumine. He injected the essence of the First Bearer into her, a naturally born perfect bearer, successfully binding her soul with that of the fragmented First Bearer.

After Dottore's experiment, on the outside, Lumine has become a chimera: Part Lumine, part The First Bearer. She has lost her memory from before the transformation, left with only traces of what once was. Lumine cannot think coherently as a human, but rather act on both the intelligent instinct of an immortal dragon, along with pieces of what is left of her moral compass.

On the inside, Lumine is trapped in a dark subspace with a weakened, finch-sized version of The First Bearer who has lost much, if not all of his memory as well. Lumine had effectively become a vessel for The First Bearer to revive itself and regain it's memories, while the now Chimera Lumine serves her purpose as being the Fatui's ultimate weapon of war. Buried deep within, she is left with a sorrowful pit in her soul that feels as if she forgot something, or rather someone, important.

Note: Lumine and Aether are the ONLY natural born perfect bearers to have been born since the age of dragons. Every other unique bearer (term to describe humans who possess a bearing that doesn't align with the seven common bearings *Anemo, Hydro, Geo, Electro, Pyro, Cryo, and Dendro*) were either a result of the cruel Fatui experimentations or are mysterious in some way (Paimon & Asmoday).

All bearings can be traced back to a dragon, much like how crests work in FE3H!

(Also, if the twin dragons had a shared theme together, it would be really close to this just because it sounds both royal and tragic at the same time vvv)
