Rant time: one of the biggest issues in a long distance relationship is how your family looks at your relationship. In my instance, I was keeping things a secret until I knew things were going to be heading in a good direction. My family took what microscopic info they could find and nearly destroy it. Everything they did was inappropriate, behind my back, and royally fucked up. I am now getting the blame from them and my fiancé for how things happened. I said too much and not enough simultaneously. Thanks to my fuckup of a family though, my fiancé, who has never met them, refuses to meet them. Thus creating a never ending cycle of blame and judgment. Since my family will continue to jump to conclusions until they meet him. Yet he refuses to meet them because of what they have already done and because they continue to think that way. Moral of the story; don't focus on horror stories so much that it deludes what the reality is.

I am currently reading the manga for D. Gray man and have finished the first season of the anime. I was really (i mean really) excited to start the anime since the manga is incredible! But I have found that the anime does not live up to my expectations:(. It is mainly filler, doesn't follow the storyline, and cut out major characters. If you have never read the manga, then I highly recommend watching this show!

Not nerdy I know, but have you ever not been able to trust your family so much that it's infuriating. I can't trust my family for shit. So when I try to talk to my s.o about stuff (even if i repeat myself) he gets irritated. I just want someone to talk to and not get frustrated at/with. I don't want them to get mad at me or completely overreact. This makes me feel so much more isolated than I should feel. End rant.
