He and Aoi are the ones who stay by the Hashiras and the injured while they recover, he ESPECIALLY stays by Tanjiro and Sanemi's sides the most.

He'd hesitate to shoot Tanjiro, don't know who's screaming at him to do it but he does it- maybe it's after Kanao injects the syringe into him? THEY SAVE TANJIRO SOONER AT LEAST??

Nezuko has to physically pull Genya away from Sanemi and insist for him to continue attending the wounded. Genya is just in so much grief because Shinobu died, there's so many bodies and injuries, and he knows that the Kakushi need their help. He can't help but cry when seeing Gyomei die though.

Nezuko's fucking RIPPED taking Genya off- I just imagine her lifting him up and over herself like what Tanjiro did to Inosuke. Crazy, anyways.

Genya does the same thing to Gyomei and they have their father-son moments of tears and death. Then he helps the Kakushi stop Muzan, bro would probably push something down on his own with Nezuko's help to- it's insane. Genya is determined.

Then it's revealed Tanjiro is dead so let's cue the mental break down.
