Joining a student protest marching towards Parliament, basically a requisite while in Athens.
Temple of Zeus
If there's one thing I learned from Athens, it's columns. These would be Corinthian. Riveting.
Athens' crown jewels- the Acropolis.
Temple of Athena, Delphi
A little ways down the road from the main archaeological site.

Just kidding about the next stop being Athens, as we actually took a day trip to Delphi for our first day in Greece. Home to the Sanctuary of Apollo and the famous Delphic oracle, Delphi was a sight like no other; I can see why the Greeks labeled it as the center of the world.
Ended my stay in Barcelona with a stroll along the boardwalk, accompanied by some fat raindrops on my camera lens.
Next stop: Athens
Gaudi's magnum opus- Sagrada Familia. Worked on until his death in 1926, and still largely incomplete with an estimated completion date of 2026- 100 years after his death. Poetic, speechless, chills.
Casa Mila/La Pedrera
Another of Gaudi's masterpieces. The exterior is eccentric enough, but just wait till you get to the rooftop. Filled with these strange chimneys, known as espanta bruixes (witch scarers). The rooftop gave me mixed feelings: mostly of awe, some confusion, and a bit of familiarity after already seeing Park Guell. What's indisputable though are the photo opportunities with the hundreds of different angles present here. Definitely one of my more difficult posts when it came to narrowing down which pictures to post (narrowed it down to 7 out of the 80 I took).
More from Montjuic, even better at night.

Barcelona's Montjuic hill, home to (1) Plaza de Espana and (2) the National Art Museum. Also, the Magic Fountain in front of the museum is Spain's very own World of Color. More to come from Montjuic.
Barcelona, Spain as seem from Park Guell.
