Talos's gremlin list because Mars refuses to acknowledge her own chaos (ranked as any good list should be):
1. Sheogorass ( @princeofmadnessandotherthings ) you owe me TWO favors now.
2. Freya, my favorite champion ( @constantlydistractedwriter ) for keeping her kill-count up. Thalmor killed: 100+
3. Me, because I accept that I cause problems.
4. Mannimarco ( @necro-moon-mannimarco ) for bringing back the Sharmat. And because my champion asked me to.
5. Mars ( @benevolence-of-mara ) lower now since she's being less of a gremlin. Lollipops given: 4
6. My descendant ( @displaced-priest-of-akatosh ) for not agreeing with the tiered list.
.
.
10000. That Thalmor ( @elenwen-the-first-emissary ) lowest because I don't respect her.
The rest will be updated when needed.

This is a satire blog meant to portray the character of Talos from The Elder Scrolls. I do not automatically agree with points said as this character. This blog features fantasy racism and imperialism. Many points will be exaggerated to poke fun at the fictional character and universe.
Please do not send any NSFW asks, they I can and will ignore them in most cases, unless itās not too suggestive and would make a good joke/response.
I do not support racism, sexism, homophobia, colonialism, and anything else meant to put down other people.

He's there I guess. Nothing too special in the mess of a family that is the Septim Dynasty. He has some good points like the Empire is an outdated system that is bound to fail soon. But he's not bringing any good with the way he goes about it. Burning camps and yelling at his dad isn't going to bring much good, and could even be counterproductive to his goals.
I tried playing by the rules to improve the empire, I very nearly succeeded, then I got murdered and my death was used as a cudgel to kill the same people I was trying to help.
I went about it the right way, I spent the whole of my life, and it didnāt work. What else am I supposed to do?
The empire only listens to violence, itās clear to me now, so let the violence its wrought be scorched across their lands, as plentifully as the blood of innocents spilled at its command!
There is very little a single person can do, and it doesn't take much for progress to be undone. Especially when there's always people rooting against you.
Blood of Innocents will be spilled no matter what side you are on. Most soldiers, their families, start out as innocent people. If you succeed in killing enough people or those who are important enough for things to change, retaliation will come. You burned that camp with a Reachman, right? Do you believe it will send the message you want it to? That they won't find someone to blame and hurt as payment for what was done?
Violence brings violence. Nothing more. If you somehow accomplish a goal through it, someone will end up hating you, and things will be right where they started. I'm not saying don't do anything about it, but you must be more strategic in your attempts. You were a general, you know how to plan.
But I know that⦠I cared about stability once, I fought for it⦠I spared the lives of the innocent and I won good will for itā¦
Lady Hellne, Ardghal, and I were there⦠Iād had a ceasefire for four years, that was the longest ceasefire in the history of the Reach⦠and when I was killed the blame was placed on the Forsworn, despite the protests of my troops, of Lady Hellne, of the Reachmen. Every single belief of mine was discarded, at the drop of hat⦠because the Empire never wanted peace. I know that now⦠and I will gladly give them what they want.
I talk from experience. I've seen the effect my actions have had long after my death. I've seen how every action, good and bad, had its consequence. I regret every death that happened at my command.
What exactly do you plan to do? Collapse the Empire? Kill its soldiers? Then what? Let the people fend for themselves as this power vacuum opens up? You need a plan before you do anything. And you can't have enemies looking to swoop in and take over while you are rebuilding a better system. You know what will happen if you don't? The Thalmor will swoop in and take over. It won't do any good to replace one corrupt Government with another.
You have too much distance⦠you donāt understand, the empire as it is⦠itās worse than nothingā¦
Maybe I stopped caring somewhere in between life and death⦠Iām not the man I was⦠I see that clear as day⦠Iām worse and I donāt care.
Thereās hate in me I know that, itās thicker than the bogs of Black Marsh⦠more poisonous too⦠all that love I felt was twisted and turned against me⦠and now thereās nothing left but the darkness waiting to spring back out.
The person I was wouldāve hated me, but I canāt do anything else, and I canāt be that man again, the void took him kicking and screaming⦠what youāre not getting is that I know that, I know those things and I canāt bring myself to care. I canāt help but hate those people who live in ignorance, or worse who know, and donāt do anything⦠theyāre worse than the people that think theyāre right. Nobody is innocent, they might be less guilty than I am, but their hands arenāt clean either.
I canāt wash out this damn spot [he looks at his hands] but I can pay back the blood.
What about children? Are they not innocent either? Are you born of sin to evil and forced to have no goodness? No! People may not be born inherently good or bad, but all are born innocent.
And there won't be "nothing" when the Empire falls. Not for long. It will be taken over by someone worse. Then what? Will you kill until killed once more? Fight, harm, and destroy until there is nothing and no one?
āWhat about children?ā heh. The empire slaughtered children, Simply because they were the sons and daughters of reachmenā¦
How do you know that there will be someone worse?
No, no, youāre just afraid theyāll be just like you.
You know well as I that I am not supposed to be alive, if I am to die fighting for whatās right, then thatās where Iāll die. Iād rather than at the hands of an assassin like beforeā¦
Iām in no position to think of the future, to construct these plans, there ought not be a Septim on throne again, our bloodline is tainted with cruelty and madness, I know one thing, the Reach will have a better leader than a Septimā¦
Are you going to stoop to their level? Murder more children because there are those that have already been murdered?
And I know there will be someone worse because the Thalmor are watching the Empire like hawks, waiting for an opportunity where they are weakened so they can continue to take over. Do you know that they believe themselves above the rest much more than the current people in power do? Do you know that they wish to oppress and destroy? To unmake the world as it stands?
You can fight, but pick your battles carefully. The way you're going, you'll be more likely to be assassinated again than not.
And if you haven't noticed, there hasn't been a Septim on the throne for the past 200 years. Cruelty doesn't have a surname.
I donāt kill children⦠I donāt kill civilians⦠but I hate those who stand by and do nothing⦠do not accuse me of something I havenāt done, thatās projectionā¦
Iām only planning on fighting till the damned fools see the lightā¦
as for the rest I donāt have to explain myself to the likes of youā¦
I'm not claiming that you will. But you cannot control angry men who want revenge for what was done to them. You cannot control any children who may get caught in crossfire. You cannot control how the war will affect those children. But the fact is, they will die.
And you should know that one man and an army isn't going to change their minds or "make them see the light".
You don't have to explain yourself to me, I can't force you to. But know that I agree with you on several points. I would encourage what you are doing if you were going about it the right way. You will bring harm to more people with the way you are going. Do you want more people to die? The Reachmen will not be able to rule themselves if the Empire finds probable cause to slaughter them all. They won't be free if they all die in battle. And they won't have peace if the Thalmor destroy the world. Is that what you want?
[his voice goes soft, less the ranting and raving it was before, it seem filled with grief] ⦠they always find cause⦠thatās the thing⦠it doesnāt matter what the reachmen do⦠the Empire, the Nords, they always find cause to slaughter themā¦
Distance makes it seem simple⦠you want people to wait for their freedom⦠they canāt wait, not any longer⦠You donāt know my plans⦠you donāt know my purpose, you make guesses to seem omnipotent, but youāre not⦠you might be a god, but youāre still a man.
So are you. How long have you been alive? How well do you know the current political situation? If you can honestly tell me you have a plan to deal with the Thalmor afterwards, I'll leave you be. Everything you've said seems to go against the idea that you do. You've said nothing is better than the Empire, but that's not how power vacuums work.
I'm just a man, but godhood gives perspective. I want the best for all. I want change, I want all people to thrive. Not at the cost of anyone else.
Ha, itās too late for that, wouldāve been nice if you gave me that advice when I was twenty, or twenty three, or twenty eight, or thirty five⦠I prayed to you every night before battle, you only respond when itās convenient for youā¦

( heās on of the procedurally generated sons of Uriel Septim VII in daggerfall so pseudo canon )

I mean, I had a son and a grandson but the latter was assassinated and that's where my line ends. All the other Septims descended from my brother. So no, I didn't spawn a whole line of them, only one direct descendant of mine was Emperor. And only for less than three years...
