March 19th - The Forever People

The Forever People are a group of young New Gods from the floating city of Supertown on New Genesis.  Seeking adventures, the godlings traveled to earth to thwart the schemes of the Apocalypian agent called Glorious Godfrey.  It would be the first of many adventures for these young heroes.   

The team is composed of Beautiful Dreamer (who along with the normal powers and abilities of a New God also possesses telepathic gifts); Mark Moonrider (who often acts as the team’s leader and possesses a ‘megaton touch’ where he can create explosive blasts); Big Bear (who is especially strong and can store and redirect kinetic energy into a powerful punch); Vykyn (the team’s tactician who also possesses magnokenetic powers); and  Serifan (the youngest member of the group, who likes to dress in a manner evocative of old Hollywood western movies and uses a replica six-shooter pistol and can fire various specialized cartridges).  

When working in conjunction, the five young gods can use a Motherbox to transforms themselves into a singular entity called The Infinity Man.  This is a mighty being composed of energy from the Source Wall, possessing incredible strength, invulnerability and a host of other impressive powers.   

The Forever People make a cameo appearance in the Justice League animated series along with a more sizable role in the Young Justice series.  Herein, the characters were voiced by actors Kevin Michael Richardson, Bill Fagerbakke, Grey DeLisle, and Dee Bradley Baker.
