I… might be reviving this project!

It’s still kinda up in the air, but my hyperfixation w venturiantale/taleblr is inching its way back into my life, so I’m thinking of bringing the project back

As you’ve probably noticed, there’s been a name change! I wanted to move away from the VenturianTale name and more toward the movement we’ve made here (taleblr).

Hey everyone, just want to give you all an idea of what's currently happening with VenturianTome

So... my VT hyperfixation has run nearly completely dry as of late. I'm still consuming fan content on my sideblog @hauntedbyeverything, but I haven't been interacting with the channel's videos much

With the changes of how the channel is running, I currently have very little interest to pull me into the videos

I'll readily admit that I was mostly interested in the characters of the VT channel; with the information that these characters are on an indefinite hiatus, or least a very very very slow return with the siblings now living separately (x), I've lost most of my interest

My main idea when planning this site was to put all of the information about the characters specifically onto the site so that anyone could easily locate information within a specific video or be more able to access that info when making theories and stuff

With the characters themselves not being updated or recognized much on the channel as it is currently, I've decided to take a break from VenturianTome

I doubt this spells the complete end for the site, but it definitely means a hiatus for a currently indiscernible amount of time. I definitely still want to put all of the characters' info into one place eventually, it's just not my current interest or top priority. Thank you for understanding

It's been taken down for a while for HUGE renovations and HUGE amounts of info to be added

I'm currently trying to comb through the info in videos so I can put the site back up as full as I can make it, so I hope y'all understand

Sorry for not being too active on here in the last few months

My hyperfixation on VenturianTale has gone down, so I haven't interacted too much with their newer videos

I'm still trying to take notes on videos and put them into the site, but it's more difficult now that I'm also dealing with college classes

Just wanted to update y'all; VenturianTome isn't dead, only going a little bit slower

I know I haven't updated the site in a little bit, and I want to apologize for that

I've been prepping for college stuff (classes, auditions, meetings, etc etc) and haven't really been able to update much in the way of this site for a few months

I'm going to start making a "Theories" page on the site

If you have any theories that you want on the site, feel free to send it to this blog (DM or reply/reblog are good) or link to them

VenturianTome is now being hosted at VenturianTome.com!

I’m sorry I haven’t updated you guys on the progression of the site for a while, so I want to give y’all a quick little update blurb!

Updates/pushes are going well

The site can be found (but not yet accessed) through GitHub

There are currently over 80 pages (most of which are character pages)

A lot of grammatical, spelling, and formatting problems are being worked on or have been fixed

Would love some contributions, especially through Video Notes

Some people have expressed interest in helping out the site, so here's one way to help me out a i/lot!

One of the ways you can help is to help me make Video Notes pages! These have:

Simplified Titles

Game / Gamemode

Which Characters / Common Quotes

Timestamps

Lore / Trivia / Events

Character Death Count (CDC)

Sibling Death Count (SDC)

Link to Video

... all of which are in more detail below

Simplified Titles

Titles don't have to be the exact title from the video, because I would run out of title space. Instead, I make simplified versions of the titles

Example:

'THE PRESIDENT VISITS MCDONALD'S! - Gmod George Bush Mod (Garry's Mod)'

↳ 'Video Notes: President Visits McDonald's'

If the video is a part of a series, put that at the start of the title (abbreviate if necessary)

Example 1:

'THE ADVENTURE BEGINS! - A MINECRAFT TALE: Season 2 Ep. 1'

↳ 'Video Notes: AMT S2 E1'

Example 2:

'LEGOLAS! - Gmod Murder Siblings 9'

↳ 'Video Notes: Murder 9; Legolas'

Game / Gamemode

Name which game or gamemode the video is set in

Example for Psycho Survivor L4D:

Psycho Survivor Gamemode (Left 4 Dead)

Which Characters / Common Quotes

If a character is in the video, named, talked about, etc., list them at the top of the page (even if it's a one-off character or barely mentioned)

List who the character is played by in the video (you can use their real name or screen-name, either way); if they're mentioned, just put "mentioned")

If a common quote is said (for example: "As they says in Spain" or "Snickers"), put it with this list

Example from Haunted By FNAF:

FNAF Animatronics: Bonnie, Golden Freddy (Isaac)

Billy Acachalla (Isaac)

Timestamps

Timestamps should be as close to the actual time as possible; please do not try to approximate if you can avoid it

Timestamps are for when the lore/trivia/event starts (you don't have to write "[time] - [time]," just the starting time)

Bad Example:

3 mins in - [Info]

Good Example:

3:01 - [Info]

Lore / Trivia / Event

Lore/Trivia: Something about a Sibling or Character that is talked about in the video

Event: Something that happens in the video that is relevant to something bigger/in the lore

This allows us to use as much information as we can from the video

Example from Prop Hunt; Ghost Hunt:

"5:27 - Jordan compares the voice Bethany is using to Box Friend and ties together Gregory, Ghost and Casket"

Character Death Count (CDC)

This shows how many times each character has died in the video

Example from Haunted By FNAF:

"Character Death Count:

Johnny Ghost 1

Johnny Toast 1

Swift Taylor 1 "

Sibling Death Count (SDC)

This shows how many times the Siblings/their character(s) have died in the video

Example from A Minecraft Tale S2 E3:

"Sibling Death Count:

Put a link to the original video at the bottom of the page for easier access

How to Format

- None of the information has to be in brackets; I just use that to show that that's where you'll put information

Basic:

[Timestamp] - [Info]

Multiple Timestamps:

[Timestamp] / [Timestamp] - [Info]

Multiple Pieces of Info:

[Timestamp] - [Info 1] / [Info 2]

OR

[Timestamp] - [Info 1]; [Info 2]

Related Info at Different Times

[Timestamp] / [Timestamp] - [Info]; [Related Info]
