Takashi Shirogane, “Shiro” for his fellow soldiers, spoke those words aloud without knowing why. He was dying, his left hand pressed tightly against the wound that ripped up his liver, and the only things that came to his mind were the stories people told about the forest surrounding the town of Barino.

The trees there talked – the town’s elders said, maybe to scare away the most enterprising children – and they could confuse you, until you got lost between branches and roots. Only the ones in need were led there, and he wished dearly for magical creatures to exist and come to his aid.

Everything was going so well that worry grew, like a painful bubble in the middle of his chest, and Shiro was forced to resurface, hungry for air and wishing to feel in control again. It was only by chance that he noticed the sudden caress of water against his knee, but tension quickly turned into certainty, while he resignedly uttered: “Lance, please, don’t pull this kind of pranks on me, or I will have a heart attack.”

“Aw, you’re so cruel, you always pick on me! I wasn’t even doing anything bad this time!”.

Lance’s voice came from behind his back and Shiro jolted, turning in his direction, while a thin water current kept on caressing him, climbing back up the outside of his thigh and almost touching his hip.

“I’m sorry, Shiro, but you had such an absorbed look on your face, while you were under there, that I thought you needed a little jolt”.

My piece for @talesofaltea a Voltron fantasy Zine~! 

We’re finally allowed to post our pieces for @talesofaltea, an italian fantasy zine!!! I got the opportunity to draw a Shance piece that’s also a crossover with FFXIV! Lance is a Bard and Shiro is a Paladin, enjoy!

Finally, the piece I made for @talesofaltea zine!! This was the first time I made something so complex using digital art, and I’m quite proud of the result. While drawing this I have learned a lot of things, so working for this fantastic zine has been like a growth path for me. I want to say thank you to all the beautiful people who have made this project possible. <3

1) I don’t know exactly what they are, even if I made them. XD Maybe nymphs, maybe elves?

FINALLY. HERE. IT. IS!!! This is my drawing for the Italian Voltron zine @talesofaltea, a project by @vldita!

I chose to draw archer Lance, thief Keith and paladin Shiro in a Fire Emblem setting ❤ (funny enough, after I finished this “Monsters&Mana” aired and Lance was the thief HAHA)
