"I was trying to see if they were planning anything against you." I mumbled while rubbing cream onto the rest of the cuts and bruises on his face.

"Are they?" I shrugged turned around to close up my kit. "What the fuck you mean you don't know?"

"I'm still observing the situation. You don't even think shit through to be having beginning details. I'll handle it myself."

"You think I'm supposed to trust yo ass? I know how your people get down."

"I honestly can care less if you trust me or not. Need I remind you again that I'm barely your wife. Our contract doesn't say shit about trust." I glanced back at him to see him scrolling through his phone, not even paying me any mind. I knew he heard me though, he just didn't want to give me a response. I let out a small chuckle while heading back to the main part of the jet. We should be getting ready to land soon anyways.

I walked past Dria while sending her a small smile. I got plans for her knowing that she's playing both sides just gives that much more of an advantage over what I already intended to do to her. She flipped me off and it only made me let out an actual laugh.

"Girl keep disrespecting me while you can. Your days are numbered here anyway." I used my hand to make a gun and playfully shot at her. "Pew. Straight head shot for you, boo." I continued walking and went to my seat. Raven got up and quickly came over to sit next to me.

"What's the deal with her fake ass? Let me know, because you know I want in on whatever the plan is." I glanced over at Raven trying to decide what all I should tell her. Surprisingly she's one of the few that I actually do like and I trust her the most out of everyone in this crew. Well after Chris of course. He actually seems like the one who would go the hardest for me if and when things actually do go down.

"She's working with outsiders. I just want to find out exactly what she has planned before I can shut anything down. Chris doesn't know though because you know he wouldn't have even hesitated to kill her. He's so reckless."

"Right, believe me I know my brother. I'll help you get more information. I know exactly how to get her insecure ass to talk." I nodded, not really getting excited about it. I honestly can handle Dria by myself, but if she wants to help then I'll see what she can do.

"Go back to your seat Raven." Chris demanded while walking over to us. She smacked her lips and got up, returning back to her seat. Chris took his original seat and pulled on his seat belt. "You better fix your attitude also Kae. Keep walking away from me like I'm some weak ass nigga and I'ma let your ass have it."

"Okay babe." I replied with a smirk while leaning over to peck his lips. He returned my smirk while shaking his head. I sat back and pulled on my seat belt also, preparing for our landing. I can't wait til we get back home so that I can get my ass in our overly comfortable ass bed.

The sound of a gun cocking snapped me out of my sleep. As soon as we got to the house I showered and went right to sleep. Opening my eyes I noticed Chris sitting on the edge of the bed with a gun in his hand and a box of bullets beside him on the night stand.

"What the hell is your crazy ass doing?"

"There are leaks in my operation. Now I know you got some shit going on and I'm trusting you to handle that shit on your own."

"Oh so you trust me now?" I questioned sarcastically while sitting up in the bed. He ignored me and continued talking.

"What I'm not going to tolerate though is niggas who work close to me, who know my operation inside and out associating with outsiders. So tell me who the fuck is working with the other side." I sighed and reached over to grab his gun. I made sure the safety was on before sitting it on the night stand.

"Chris, babe you need to calm down."

"Nah, fuck that calm down shit. My son is here. I'm not about to sit back and chill while his life could be on the line. Everybody in IUC knows that the quickest way to break me is through him. If anything happens to him I'm killing every fucking body." He swung his arm, knocking everything off of the night stand. I sat up onto my knees and wrapped my arms around his neck, hugging him from behind. His pores were reeking of liquor and weed. I started kissing down the back of his neck while massaging his shoulders and the top of his chest.

"It's nothing too serious right now. All I know of is one person who's recording your meetings and shit for LK. Truthfully I would be careful around everyone. You need to keep your guard up especially right now while everything is about to go down. You need to keep a close eye and see how they react in these type of situations. I know you don't really trust me and I don't really trust you either, but in this situation we only really have each other to depend on." As fucked up as it is. Weighing out my options with all three crews leads me to believe that the grass is definitely not greener anywhere else. I just need to stay and tend to my own fucked up lawn. Chris grabbed my arm and pulled me around to where I was straddling his lap.

"Let's make a deal then, and I'm not talking about one of them twisted ass deals you got when anyone else. Let's throw in trust and honesty. At the end of the day it's me and you. You gotta have my back the same way I got yours. I'm not saying this shit just cause I'm drunk either. I'm on a mission and I know you're the only one who can rock with me during this. You have to trust me, you have to be honest with me and you need to be loyal." I licked my lips while looking down into his red eyes. I want to trust him, I just don't want to get fucked over.

"I'm going to feel so fucking stupid if this all comes crashing down on me." I mumbled while shaking my head.

"Tell me I'm playing you Karrueche. You're looking at me. You see me right now. This ain't no fucking game. I don't have time to sit here and fucking play you. If I wanted you dead I would have been killed you. I would have killed for still keeping in contact with them fucking snakes from Last Kings and I would have killed you when I seen you making deals with Aces. I know what the fuck you're doing. You can't hide shit from me baby girl. We're married. You work in my hospital and sleep under my roof, I know you didn't think you really were hiding shit from me." I shrugged my shoulder and looked away from his intense stare.

"Why haven't you killed me yet then?"

"Because I love your fake ass." I cocked my head back and looked at him like he was stupid. He let out a hearty laugh while laying back on the bed, bringing me down with him. I got comfortable on top of him, putting my face in the crook of his neck.

"All bullshit aside though Karrueche, I chose you for this shit for a reason. I'm not out to set you up or play you. I'm just trying to build up my name, my business and my empire. I'm trying to get stronger."

"Well in order to be stronger you have to cut down your circle of trust. I'm not saying cut everybody off because you can't be the greatest by yourself. You just need to stop trusting everyone. Chill out and actually take the time to observe what is actually going on around you. That alone will open your eyes to a lot of shit."

"Well what about you? You gonna open yourself up to me and stop leaving me in the dark?"

"I don't know yet. It's like I'm with you but I don't know if I want to just blurt out every single thing. I just don't feel comfortable right now. Maybe when you're not drunk and I feel like opening up to you a little more. I'm just not ready right now. It's the only thing of value I have left really. I can't give it up too easily." He kissed the top of my head while tightening his hold around me.

"Fuck it then." He mumbled followed by a loud ass snore. I lifted my head to see his eyes closed and his mouth gaped open. His drunk ass. I shook my head and put my face back in the crook of his neck. I love being able to sleep next to him like this. The way he holds me in his sleep gives me a feeling I've never felt before. I'm just afraid that at any minute this is all going to blow right up in my face.
