Goro stared at his phone. He had been assaulted by sexual imagery ever since he arrived in Night City. From soft drink ads to joytoys flaunting their wares, it seemed to be completely unavoidable in this place. Very little of it held any erotic appeal.
Yet Vee sending him nudes on accident β if it even was an accident, something he would not bet his meager eddies on β made something in him stir.
They werenβt even that explicit. In the first photo she was lying on her side in a pose that emphasised her curves. Her thighs folded around a thatch of neatly trimmed hair; the one visible nipple held a small golden hoop. Most of her face was cropped out except for where her free hand rested on her jaw, the tip of her pinky catching on her lower lip.
In the second she was standing in front of a mirror with her back turned, holding up a loose top around her midriff to show off her backside. Again, no face β but it wasnβt like he hadnβt seen those tats before, snaking up her back from the top of her pants to the bottom of her crop topβ

Goro put the phone face down beside him on the bed. Lifted a hand to pinch the bridge of his nose. The tantalising glimpse of tongue behind her teeth seemed to have burned itself into his mindβs eye, along with the jewelry on her breast, the generous curve of her ass.
Shit.
Heβd been hoping the effects of the neural libido suppressant would take longer to wear off. Maybe he shouldβve had a new one installed, but he couldnβt really afford the uncomfortable adjustment period. Or the implant itself, for that matter. Besides, it wasnβt like his sex drive had ever been particularly high.
Still. At this rate, heβd have to start actually attending to his β¦ needs.
He should delete the photos. He really, really should delete the photos. Deleting the photos would mean heβd have to look at them again.
Heβd deal with it later.

I tried to recreate a small part of my fic during Totalimmortal. I decided to keep it without subtitles so I wouldn't spoil my fic so much, and also just to leave it up to everyone's interpretations. In any case, there's angst because V is barely holding on -the Relic's damage by this point is killing her and she's exerting herself fighting a war that's not hersπ’

Living the corpo life may seem to look like living the "easy" life to others, a safety bubble in Night City but was it really? It has a fair share of pros and cons but was it really the best?

Wanted to show a corpo-esque lifestyle for Goro and Subaru but making them think if living this kind of life is good for them. (if that made sense)
