I saw this was going to get a series adaptation and I just finished reading The Spirit's Bride today. I enjoyed it and I'm excited to see it get made. It was somehow both exactly what I thought it would be and also really different. I guess it's more the story is exactly what you expect but the characters are different? IDK to me the picture is a little misleading.

I do think it will one that will slightly struggle as we don't get to see Ong Sin's thoughts throughout the story. I think people will struggle with Ong Sin without getting his thoughts. But it is solid though there are a few elements that I don't think ever really get explained and they do end the official story on not necessarily a cliffhanger but it's not explained at all and had never been brought up in the story before.

I've seen two acting pairs already being pushed to be considered and one set I think works perfectly in terms of physicality. Kasidit's size and strength is highlighted so much in the book I think they will have to be careful in casting otherwise I think it will lose something. I don't think a chapter goes by without Sin thinking about how big Kasidit is.

The one downside to the actor pair I really like is their studio isn't known for being able do the tone and while their NC was really good Kasidit and Ong Sin's relationship is really driven through the NC scene and I don't think the studio would go for it. Honestly like 2/3 of the story is sex.

They've cycled through English, Spanish, Korean, Chinese, and now German.
