At least make sure you get my good side and not my fresh-out-of-the-water face. No one beside the swim team needs to be scarred with that look for the rest of their lives. 

You know what? You look like a majestic dolphin when you’re coming out of the water, I don’t want to hear any of this “good side” talk. 

“That’s very cool, I’ve been wanting one for a couple years. What did you decide to get?”

“I’m going to get a walrus on a unicycle that’s juggling a few of those little green alien dudes from Toy Story. What did you want to get tattooed?”

“Because you like sewing, or…?”

“Sewing, making and designing clothes.. the whole shebang.”

What are you thinking of getting?

A tattoo of your face obviously! Whenever I miss you I’ll just look at it.

“What are you getting done?”

“I’m thinking of getting a small spool of thread and a sewing needle.” 

Freddie listened, but soon, his grinning smile returned to suppress the laugh in his throat due to his dirty mind. “Not me, Fray. All meat on my skewers,” He answered with as straight of a face as he could, “but the rest sounds good to me. Drinks and chips are a given, of course.”

Taissa laughed out, a deep pink blush spreading across her cheeks. “Is that so? I think it’s about time we introduced something new to your skewers.” She rolled her eyes playfully, nodding. “And should we get some red, white and blue popsicles for dessert, right?” 

“Now, that’s what I like to hear. I’m thinking some barbecue skewers, burgers, and tacos. Care to add?”

“Maybe we can grill some eggplant or something. Or peppers, unless you like to put peppers on your skewers. I think that's a thing that some people do.” 

“What are you getting and where?” Celeste smiled as she looked over at the girl. “They’re really great so I can totally understand your excitement.”

“I’m getting a cute little spool of thread and a sewing needle on my upper arm.” 

“I’m telling you, with this nice ass weather, cookouts are thee best way to go. Are you down?”

“I’ve never been more down to grill meat than I am right now, let’s do it!”
