I just want to sit in the rain. Forget my troubles and worries for just a moment and feel the water droplets wash over me. I just want to close my eyes and soak in the water, breathe in the smell, listen to it all crash to the ground. I’d rather hear that instead of my own heart breaking. But this is what happens when someone broken becomes even more broken. Wishing that one day to let go, and when that happens, I want to be in the rain. Because I know I won’t be the only one crying, the sky will be crying with me. You have no idea how much comfort I find in that.
