    Naturally, Kiyondo had been exhausted by the time he’d arrived home, reminding him of why he’d been unwilling to try to visit more often for short breaks, several hours though various subway systems and carrying not much more than his jacket and a bento to snack on as he’d made his way to his family’s small home.

    Of course, this hadn’t once faltered his excitement as he’d stepped through the door, greeted by his younger brother, now spitting out yanki slang as if that had always been the norm. Of course, Kiyondo obviously had some fault in teaching Kiyotaka such things, to the dismay of their poor father.    “Taka!!!” he calls out in reply, before leaning down and scooping the younger one into his arms. “Shit, bro, you’ve gotten heavier! Dad been feedin’ ya?”

    As his older brother came towards him and bent down, Kiyotaka raised his arms high above his head to help aid in being picked up in Ishida’s arms.

    “Nii-san!” he reiterated joyfully.

    The younger was too excited to be effected by curse.  It wasn’t as if Kiyondo never swore before going off to university, but after being away for so long, it was a cuss-free home for a while.  Kiyotaka coiled his arms around his brother’s neck, not wishing to let go for the rest of the day.  After hearing Ishida question him, not only did he answer him, but he started rambling about his day, how their father  was doing, and other similar topics.

    Today was the day Kiyotaka was anticipating for a long while now, and for the past week he had been counting down the days with his father.  His brother was coming home for break!  It had been a few months since he last visited, and Kiyotaka missed him terribly.  Although Ishida is a rowdy individual (on scarce occasions, a pain), but the house is so quiet and lonesome without him.

    For an hour the little boy stood leaning against the window pane, watching for his brother’s return.  He wanted to be the one to open the door for him and first to welcome him home.  Finally, he saw the familiar face and dashed to the door, yanking it open and heartily hollering out to his older brother.
