Honestly... The best way is to just work with him. Working with him, divination, and talking with people who actually work with him.

I find a lot that standard demonolatry and especially Luciferianism - the two main things that include him under their umbrella at least occasionally - just... are not good frames of reference for him, and that's kind of backed up by the fact that he barely works with people through those lenses at least long term. He'll pop in, but... he tends to see the world outside of - I'll just say it. he doesn't like cultural christianity more than occasionally getting to roleplay some fun Ooo Im A Scary Demon, he has his own cultures. He's not generally interested in making his existence about other gods, or Christianity

If you want to know about him, you've got to know him. Everyone has a million things to say about him, but looking at him through any religious lens is going to be incomplete if not inaccurate.

He also has probably more faces than people have things to say about him, but hes very reactionary with them - he puts on faces as a reaction to the people who approach him and how they approach him. Tldr is basically... he'll play pretend with you if you try the demon approach or try learning about him from an angle he actually doesnt care to engage with you through, but if you want to keep him around a long time you have to Know him and the only way you can Know him is getting to know him. That really is best done through channelling, divination, asking people who actually know him, etc

#hes very hands on in his most comfortable forms for a reason #We frequent places (off plane and outside/around this life) where we expect people to basically literally throw themselves to him #in order to find him. Its... Im biased here. I expect people who seek us and him especially out to go into the wilderness and find him #i expect a lot of manual work to know him otherwise I dont open my personal gates to him - which is relevant because my answer to this #may be entirely different to both someone else in general and someone who doesnt have my role with him #however... i dont just say this because its what i want. Ive seen lev borderline manifest in the lightning between practitioners #who tear off their human skin and his keen eyes on them as they do so. Hes a god of destruction - and yes of knowledge and study #and meditation and so on but... hes hands on. grab him and look at him and make him grab you and look at you in return...#is my advice backed by my experience with him.
