thinking about growing up and still being genderqueer. graduating college, finding a career, getting married and still being genderqueer. having kids and turning 40 and buying a house and still being genderqueer. using any and all pronouns and dressing how i want and cutting my hair and retiring and having people call me miss and mister and being genderqueer through it all. because this isn’t a phase, not a temporary state of being. i’ll be old and surrounded by my closest friends on a beach in florida and still genderqueer and i’ll be goddamn happy about it.

feel like i’ve maybe posted about this before but literally the best thing you can do in your entire life is be completely unironic about something you care about. have no self-awareness and don’t be self deprecating. you like typing with ^^ and :3?? do it unironically and unapologetically!! you like posting about my little pony?? do it for yourself and no one else!! life is not a performance for outsiders!!
