First showing of my avatar’s new fantôme version today! He’s really cool, able to fuse units under a token to give new effects.
That being said, he uh… also seems really bad. 40k double crit being the largest attack all turn on a 4 attack max turn. But fuck it! Masanori only got one turn in the latest fight he jobs in, zorga may have another part of the skill or some rear guards with more unique effects we don’t know about!
Regardless, I have now purchased a gamegenic brandt gate deckbox to match my stoicheia one, alongside a set of brandt gate triggers. So. Um. I think I’m the only one in my playgroup with pure unit loyalty, not nation loyalty. Wherever zorga goes next I shall follow!
Finally!! Zorga topped!! So I’ll be using the topping list for a little bit, my fronts and heals got here today! Cannot wait to Cardfight more often.
It truly is an unparalleled experience to have been playing a deck since day one and to *finally* have it be good. Like… genuinely Good. All these years of practice with Zorga is finally paying off!
I’ve gotten a couple friends into the game more (say hi, Youthberk and Bavsargra mains-) and that means!! More fights!!
Out of every card game I play (a lot), vanguard is genuinely the only one I’ve played in the new year against real opponents, and like… it’s been A Lot this year. Hoping for even more!!
A new friend has joined the crew of the Regrain! It’s not since the days of Hendrina back in the first wave of support that we’ve had a flower maiden on board!
I love the lavender/mint vibes, even if her art ain’t really my favourite, the effect and the overall colours and composition of the card really make up for it! Also hairstyle’s nice.
On the turns where I can’t revive a sea monster like roaming prison dragon or abomination of impending karma, she’s my strongest attacker, and her Unique skill may be costly, but it fills up the drop zone if I’m out of orders, helps dig for sea monsters or boosters, and can revive something in a pinch. Overall versatile card that I can’t wait to use!
