Hi I actually finished this design last year (November 8th) and am just now posting since it's mermay again heh..... I had watched so many deep sea videos on youtube to figure out how I wanted to make him. Thats where I learned that in darker parts of the ocean, you can be such a strong color of red and it makes you practically invisible to other sea creatures of that depth. I think it would be so funny for Y/N to be going deeper than ever, finds Eclipse, who thinks they can't see him, only for him to be the most visible thing within Y/N's scuba lights. Real hiding behind a pole, but you can still see my whole body vibe. (It's also what gets him super interested in Y/N)

I've always really liked how big G3 Abbey is, especially comparing the doll sizes lol. I love the little hair horns too!

I've had this design like all month but am now finally finishing it, my contribute to mermay like 21 days in lol

I've been wanting to do my own siren/mer design for Sun (and Moon) for so long but honestly couldn't think of squat, so I bought Subnautica to help inspire me but also because I really wanted to play it! That led me to make this design!!!! I imagine him not being the best at swimming or at least swimming for a long time kinda like a cheetah, how it's only quick bursts, so along with latching on to pray the venom from his teeth numbs other creatures so he can latch onto them like a parasite with barely any detection and get a free ride to further destinations. The little appendages are also used to latch onto a mate so they don't get taken by a touch current like seahorses.

Last day of mer may and my Moon design is finally done!!! I got inspo from the blanket octopus and shadow leviathan from Subnautica Zero. I went back and forth with wanting to make this boyo partially transparent and honestly, I only didn't because it would have made the coloring take longer lol. Because I played Subnautica to help get me inspired and motivated to finally tackle making designs for Sun and Moon (will do Eclipse but not any time soon sadly) I envision them in that environment but they don't have to be limited to that game, so to all my fanfic authors out there if you like either design and want to use them please do (and send me a link so I can read it hehehee~)

I was first thinking of the scar on his chest to be something caused by Sun but idk

Glamrock Bonnie finally joins my fnaf charm roster!!! I included the others because I just now realized I never posted my art from them after what like 2/3 years?!? You can also tell that Bonnie is made after them from how my art has changed lol
