AU where due to Wednesday's shenanigans with her Raven powers and a new occult spot they discovered in the Nevermore campus, Pugsley accidentally swaps places in space and time with his younger past self. Younger Pugsley is now stuck in the present while Older Pugsley is now stuck in the past.

Wednesday assigns Eugene as the babysitter of Younger Pugsley to keep an eye on him while she tries to figure out how to reverse this. Eugene is irritated that not only does he keep getting dragged into these shenanigans but now he has to deal with an annoying Younger Pugsley following him around asking him way too many questions.

Meanwhile, Older Pugsley goes to Nevermore to seek out the past version of his sister to help him get home. There, he runs into a Younger Eugene who he sees getting tripped by another student while carrying one of his bug terrariums. He helps Younger Eugene pick his terrarium back up and tells him tips on pranks to pull to get back at bullies. Younger Eugene is surprised that someone is willing to talk to him despite his love of bugs and nerdiness, especially an older kid.

When Older Pugsley does find past Wednesday, Younger Eugene is basically following him around at this point. When Younger Eugene learns the two are siblings, he figures it makes sense since Wednesday had been the only other person willing to talk to him before now.

It goes back and forth between the perspective of Older Eugene dealing with Younger Pugsley and Younger Eugene trying to get to know and hang out with Older Pugsley.

Older Eugene gets increasingly irritated at Younger Pugsley for the smallest of things, starting to snap angrily at him whenever he perceives him as messing up. Younger Pugsley starts getting quiet and withdrawn, not wanting to be a bother.

Younger Eugene gets extremely excited when he finds out Older Pugsley actually likes bugs too and knows some fun bug facts (morbid ones, of course). Older Pugsley also helps him pull off pranks against past bullies, sneak into the cafeteria past curfew for food, and teaches him some basic combat skills.

To say Younger Eugene is star struck by Older Pugsley is an understatement. He's starting to develop a puppy crush on the older boy and dreads when he has to go back to his own timeline. He asks Older Pugsley if they're friends in the future and Pugsley says yes and that they're dorm roommates at Nevermore. Younger Eugene is thrilled by that information, but also a little nervous.

Finally, both Wednesdays with the help of their mothers and grandmothers manage to reach out through the timeline and communicate enough to come up with a way to swap the Pugsley's back. They say the original timeline will be restored and it'll be like this had never happened. But that there might be some residual unforseen side effects.

......Turns out those side effects were that a couple of days later, Eugene and Pugsley are both flooded with the memories of their past selves during the time variable.

Eugene is flustered, seeing Pugsley in a whole new light, and tries shyly to spend more time with the other boy. Pugsley also sees Eugene in a whole new light... except it isn't a positive one. He withdraws from Eugene, feeling hurt and irritated by how Eugene treated Younger Him.

Pugsley has the habit of doing kind gestures for Eugene that Eugene automatically assumes are romantic in intent. At first, he finds it a little off-putting that the creepy Addams boy seems to have a crush on him and does his best to keep him at a distance.

But despite his best wishes, Pugsley slowly grows on Eugene. Worming his way into his heart. The gestures are always kind and thoughtful, even if they're sometimes a bit too much or too awkward.

Eugene starts thinking that maybe he could bring himself to reciprocate Pugsley's feelings afterall. That the poor guy doesn't have to be one-sidedly pining away. He starts purposely spending more time with Pugsley, getting to know him and starting to like him back.

When he does finally broach the subject with Pugsley about his feelings, Pugsley is confused at first, thinking that Eugene is talking about them being friends and bros. Eugene clarifies the romantic aspect and Pugsley goes "Oh, I haven't really thought about that. Did I come off wrong? Sorry, still new to this whole friendship thing."

AU where Isaac didn't get revived. Instead at camp Pugsley pranks the Normie scouts with things like fireworks, rope traps etc when they try to sneak back into the camp.

One Normie scout takes notice of his skills and flirts, which goes a little over Pugsley's head at first. The scout does give Pugsley his number, but Pugsley tells the scout he doesn't have a phone. The scout decides to write letters instead, mentioning that he owns a carrier pigeon.

Eugene, who had worriedly followed Pugsley around while he set the traps because he was worried the other boy would end up getting someone injured, watches the exchange in bewilderment and amusement. He figures the scout will change his mind once he realizes how weird Pugsley is.

Skip forward and one day Eugene notices Pugsley getting ready in different clothes than usual. Eugene normally just lets Pugsley do his own thing, wanting to stick to himself, but decides to ask where he's going this time out of curiosity. Pugsley says he has a date with that scout. Eugene is flabbergasted, wondering what the hell the scout sees in such an off-putting Addams.

He starts to notice Pugsley more and watches him more closely. He realizes Pugsley is strange, sure, but a pretty nice guy actually. Then the scout starts coming around the Nevermore campus a lot and as Eugene watches him flirt with Pugsley the horrifying realization slowly sets in for Eugene that he's jealous of the scout.

I love Eugene so so much he is so me, I have actual pet bugs so no one can tell me otherwise. Any free time I have during school I read ao3 because I’m obsessed with eugsley, I need them injected into my veins.

I remember I started reading ffs about them when they had 38 ffs and I checked on them every day, so happy they have 200 now.. I read most of them (if it’s weird I cry)
