Not all priests heed their deity's call.

Zesiro had never wanted to become Flamecaller's priest. But he didn't have a choice- Not at first at least. He'd been selected before his egg even hatched, taken from his family to be born and raised within the deity's realm. For most of his life he lived there, unhappy and unwilling.

But he didn't sink into helplessness. Zesiro learned the skills he needed to free himself and, now, he lives on his own terms. He travels the world and brings light to the darkest of places. He burns them clean so that life can spring forth clean and renewed.
