So I've been wondering about what kind of fanfics and fanworks and fanon would spawn when certain characters join smash and stuff.
Let's go with ULTRAKILL, my current hyperfixation (even though it may be too bloody for Smash's family-friendly image), and see what this exercise leads to.
Of course the protagonist, V1, would be joining. Maybe Gabriel too since he's an important character in a way I won't say because spoilers.
Maybe smash bros fans would see their relationship through how it's first presented. Maybe they'd based their headcanons over how the memes of their fandom portray them. Maybe they'd base it on the way they're mischaracterized in subtle ways.
But how about those who look closer? For me, if ultrakill characters get in the game, I'll make them permanent residents of the smash world due to my desire to live a happy life cuz they surely went through The Horros in canon. Maybe they'd be friendlier to other people (although they may find the presence of humans jarring since mankind is dead in Ultrakill)
Anyways how you think the smash fandom would portray your blorbo if they get in your games?
That's hard to actually answer just bc of so many potential variables. How they are in canon vs how many people actually know how much of that canon vs what parts get attention in Smash vs what gets utilized most in gameplay vs is there a part of the fighter presentation that gets a lot of fan attention, etc etc etc
