i am honestly so so so so excited for this and for all shippers that ship this cute couple but please for this coming event LEAVE COMMENTS

from what i can tell of who is participating almost everyone is going to be first time writers and artists and leaving comments is always important but especially if theyre just starting out. leaving comments helps writers/artist feel validated and loved and appreciated for all the hard work they do in making these things they love and share with everyone. almost every single zenyuki fanfic that has been written in the past year only has 2 to 3 comments on them, half of which are aurthor comments. and sadly quite a few of these comments are just saying things like “pls make more” or “pls update soon”. (on a side note: an actually positive way to express wanting more without sounding rude is “i cant wait for more” or “i cant wait to see what happens next”)

so for this coming zenyuki week please share your love for these fics. and im not just talking about in the tags, or gifs or simply saying “i love it”. and while a lot of authors will say thats all theyre asking for, honestly, for how many hours they worked on it they deserve more than that in my opinion. dont just say “i love it”. instead, talk about how “that scene wrecked me! WRECKED ME!”.  or how “that one line read like beautiful poetry”. how “that one piece of dialogue had you in stitches”. how “that one hand touch scene had you smiling like an idiot in public while you were on the bus”.

and im not perfect for leaving comments,  i still have a laundry list of fics i still need to get to, and honestly comments take a lot of my spoons, but that doesnt need to stop you from engaging with the author about their fic. send screams of appreciation in PMs and send heart emojis in inboxs and gif reactions for every chapter update. share headcanons you have about certain scenarios about what u think might happen in the next chapter (even though ur always wrong hahahah), or that you caught on the the plot twist you think the author is going for ;) (even if you’re wrong most authors love knowing that what they do have planned will destroy you :3) show your love for the fics this zenyuki week and
