yeah i'm compelled by the klingzale enmity
He is still an electrician in this AU but is a part of a team of Wreckers employed to do the nitty gritty work that keep the 4077 going.
He also still beefs with Klinger but it's more like a Mirage and Cliffjumper type beef where Klinger always tries to prove to Potter that he's a decepticon in disguise.
However when the generator blew up under his care and the backup mysteriously goes missing, this was the final nail in the coffin to convince Potter that Zale was a traitor and he had him court marshalled (which would likely end in the death penalty) which would explain his disappearance in the show.
Potter would regret it as it would later be proven that Zale was innocent as the backup was stolen by a rival M*A*S*H unit and the generator blowing up really was an accident.
(Originally wasn't going to do Zale but reconsidered after realizing he's a part of a major storyline with Klinger so it would be stupid not to include him)
FAMBILY.............

Thanks for the ask!!
14. Off the top of my head, idk if I can think of one episode I’d like to get rid of. There’s bits of episodes I don’t like… prices of Fallen Idol and Period of Adjustment come to mind, or even the beginning of Blood Brothers, but those episodes gave necessary character development. Maybe that one episode with Rizzo being a loan shark? Tbh I’m not a huge Rizzo fan so that episode was kinda ugh.
WAIT NO. As an afterthought, I gotta go with the Yalu Brick Road. Only because I have really bad emetophobia and that episode gave me a panic attack when I watched it. Geez.
17. My favourite episode is — surprise surprise — Dear Sis. I’m a Mulcahy girl through and through so most of my faves involve him. Two of my other faves are Nurse Doctor and Hepatitis. If you want ones that aren’t as Mulcahy centric… Point of View, The Kids, and Bless You, Hawkeye. Also the interview episodes.
20. Well my favourite character is Father Mulcahy, who may look like a cinnamon roll but could knock you out. A few characters I cannot fucking stand… Zale and Colonel Flagg come to mind. Mulcahy could 1000% take them both if he was angry enough.
Okay that was fun!! Thanks again for the ask :)
klinger/zale, enemies to lovers, 300k
I’m sorry I’m sorry, you’re telling me that Sergeant Zale’s last episodes was “Goodbye Radar part 1.”
Which could imply that one of Klingers first jobs as a company clerk was delivering Zale his discharge from the army.
God what a fucking punch to the gut.
