i do believe rebecca was probably pr...maybe i'm wrong and they genuinely did have some connection b/t them but imo it made absolutely no sense for a mid 20-something year old woman with kids to be dating a (barely legal) teenager, and txf def seems to have a history where they loved to use hamfisted "relationships" between contestants to promo the show and/or promo their bigger acts - your two series runner-ups (or 'rejects' as the dailymail so lovingly refers to them lol) dating makes for great headlines. and ofc it came right at the end of the txf live tour when they would've had not much else to help generate promo for the show/franchise, and which would've kept ppl's interest up just in time for the start of the upcoming season (which began airing less than a month after the break-up announcement).

then there's the fact that they were first spotted together coming out of a nightclub which just screams pr. if it wasn't about headlines they could've very easily used a back door or side entrance rather than the front door or somewhere where paps would obviously be waiting. they also could've gone to a club somewhere much more lowkey where they wouldn't be so easily spotted or papped (i'm sure there's plenty around london). on top of that the only pictures i've seen of them together don't even look very romantic at all tbh - in most of the ones from the nightclub for instance zayn is standing like 2-3 feet away from her, and in the ones where he's actually making physical contact with her his arm is either stretched out to her to from a bunch of feet away or just looks like he's awkwardly guiding/pushing her like someone just reminded him he's supposed to be touching her and he didn't know what to do lol. there's even some pics of them in a car afterwards and there's a second girl sitting between them in the car (who also got caught in a couple of the pics coming out of the club)...not very romantic to bring along a third wheel to your date night and let that third wheel sit between you after your date lol

the only other pics of them i could find are just moments where they happen to be sitting or standing next to/nearby each other not really interacting (in one of them zayn is walking like 4 feet apart from her with his head down and his eyes glued to his phone screen - if that doesn't scream we're madly in love idk what does lmao)

(also, this is a little separate from z & rebecca's specific situation since that happened after the show & live tour was mostly over, but in general for a show like txf to even allow open dating b/t contestants is kinda weird and sus when you think about it cause normally on reality shows like those it's built into the contract to specifically bar contestants from publicly dating so as to avoid dealing with any complications that might cause issues for the show, like if someone got pregnant/or assaulted/got a serious std/whatever and had to leave the show/tour before it was over)

i'm sorry but, a lot of people on here AND on twitter are annoying me. you're all going on about the same thing; zayn & rebecca. we don't even know if its true and you're all spazzing out. and most of you are actually being really horrible about it - saying you think it's weird and all this shit. i'm sorry but, i thought being a fan meant that you were supportive? well a lot of you need to take a look at yourselves and realise that you're being very immature. and at the end of the day, we don't even know if its fucking true. but personally, i'm happy if zayn is happy.
