Like, there’s Dib and Keef, and arguably Tak because he ruined her life and left her consumed with vengeance, and Skoodge, who follows him around like a puppy and does whatever he says.

But then there’s also that Fitzoo-Menga/Virooz guy who was apparently cyberstalking him for years, even before he started his mission on earth, and became so opinionated and possessive over a very specific ideal version of him he decided he wanted to literally become him.

Back in 2011 I experimented with writing ZaZR. No not that one, the other ZaZR! Zim/Zita, of course!

Idk what my logic was exactly. I think I just wanted to take something random and see if I could make it work. Zita always seemed like one of the nicer kids at the school so like. Why not, ya know? I don't remember much of the story because I never did much with it, but I think it took place in high school- sorry, Hi-Skool and I used the old cliche of them getting put together to work on a project. And while they're spending more time together, they genuinely become friends and start to like each other? Idk. I tried finding my old files but I didn't save them, which is weird because I usually save everything even if it never goes anywhere. Hm. Ah well. Lost to the ages..

But yeah I think Zim started genuinely opening up once he had someone who was interested in him but also took no shit, which he admired, and I imagined it being surprisingly fluffy and eventually she learns he's an alien and is cool with it and etc etc happily ever after idk
