The beauty of actually knowing and enjoying the act.
I don’t follow and actually know a lot about French music scene. Part of it is because when I left France, almost 3 decades ago the first time, it was harder to keep being informed about French culture (music, movie, literature…) as it’s harder to find abroad and I also wasn’t surrounded by a lot of French people. But little by little I find little gems here and there.
I actually found out about Therapy Taxi (Zaoui first band) because of a Dua Lipa song (she took some sample from one of their song) but unfortunately the band broke off just before I came back from Singapore and I couldn’t go to their good-bye concert. The two singers now have a solo career and I enjoy both of them. Tonight was Zaoui and Ade is playing in April.
