"But I'm curious, are you collared because you're a shikigami?" Her smirk grew. "Or because you're you?"

Ran bared her fangs as she growled and stalked towards the taotie.

"Watch it."

"Keh-heh-heh, still got some bite left in you? I'm shocked." She shrugged, closing her eyes. "Here I thought you were tamed completely like the good shikigami you are~"

"I am a-" Ran stopped herself before huffing. "I am a powerful shikigami, but that does not mean I cannot hold my own."

"Of course~ It just means you'll happily wear proof of your dwindling pride in public-"

She was cut off by a weight against her, pinning her down on the porch. The taotie looked up to see Ran with a barely kept frustration in her eyes and smile.

"Dwindling pride? Hah." Her voice was low and half way to a snarl. "Why are you so fascinated by it, hm?" Her grip on her wrists tightened slightly, but not enough to truly harm her. "Perhaps I'll make you my shikigami and put you on a leash." Her smile turned into a smirk as she lowered her head to whisper in Yuuma's ear, "Tell me, Yuuma. Would you like that? To be mine. To be restrained?" Her voice grew lower and lower but still rang in Yuuma's head. "I'd get you a nice, snug, collar. Something only for you. Telling everyone that you're mine. Telling you who you belong to."

The taotie shivered as Ran's lips tickled her ear. Ran just pulled away and stood up with ease and her usual calm expression.

"Don't bark if you can't bite, Yuuma."

The taotie laid there for a moment before chuckling breathily.

"I can certainly bite."

"Mm." The kitsune's eyes gleamed before she turned back to folding clothes. "I must finish this before the rain comes."

"Then?"

"Then~?" She purred and chuckled. "Maybe, if you're good."
