It’s a game I greatly enjoyed, the writing is excellent, I am very much attached to the characters.

i loved it.

it’s not my favorite. oh no, is it not my favorite.

see for me i doubt anything will surpass part 3, if im honest. let me explain.

so i know that diu was way more “slice of life” than the other parts, but what i missed from part 3 was the unity the group had.

like, they’d give me a character koichi, josuke, and/or okuyasu had beaten up a few volumes ago and put them in another fight and??? i liked them when they helped out but just.

i wish there was more of a togetherness to the group. like part 3 combined the numerous stand users with the group’s dynamic incredibly ell and i didn’t get the same vibe from this.

i got the feeling that it was josuke and okuyasu and koichi and yukako/rohan/jotaro/josuke.

like nobody rly??? went through an arc? like oku kinda did (koichi too but i can’t rly tell what it was) but it was mainly stand user after stand user. 

and im a little upset they didn’t go into josuke’s family a little more. i really wish there was more joseph and tomoko and some suzie and shizuka too like i feel??? it got less important annd idk that’s not rly smth to be just shafted.

i just feel like the character development (which was shoddy for a few characters in part 3 admittedly, *coughs* avdol) wasn’t rly there? which was fine because i grew to love the characters but idk not in the same way i love the stardust crew.

like i wish we got a lot more of that togetherness. like part 3 had the whole group fight tower of gray, the high priestess, geb, and the sun (kinda but i mean). it didn’t DOMINATE the fights but you got the idea that these guys worked together well and i never??? got that w the duwang crew???

and of course... if there’s one thing about the kira fight i wish everyone was involved at least. like i kno kira’s a guy w a stand and dio was an immortal vampire w the body of a joestar and a stand but i mean.

it by all means lived up to the expectations i was given.

kira was a great villain, every fight was a lot of fun, but i feel that diu was so long araki kinda lost track and just. eh maybe it’s my part 3/anime bias but
