Shirato had a.. slight issue with focusing. Even with things he liked to do, if it wasn't something he was intensely fixated on, his mind would probably drift and zone out until someone or something snapped him out of it. It sucked, but Shirato was pretty used to it.
Because of this, he'd often forget to do basic things like eating. Even when the bento box was right in his lap.
The blondie would sit there drumming away with his utensils, looking off into the distance. He wasn't really thinking of anything, just.. zoning out. He wasn't really aware of how this looked to bystanders..

Yuta, in almost a similar vein to Shirato, did have some problems with focusing. Not to the same extent, but more there was so much going on in his mind that it was a struggle to focus on one thing. Even when it was something he wanted to do, like his stargazing or other such activities.
So, he went on walks. He'd wander around his neighborhood during the day and some nights, and he'd wander his school's halls whenever he had breaks or lunch. Which was exactly what he was doing now. Simply wandering and trying to clear his head.
It is also when he spots Shirato in his classroom, simply drumming away instead of eating. Granted, he couldn't say much. He was wandering instead of eating. But still. He couldn't help but be curious. So, he wanders in, gently tapping on the other's desk to get his attention.
