It was now lunch break at school and Sofia was happy. After a few long classes she was ready to eat. She walked to get her bento that she had brought. Shin wasn’t with her currently, but she knew he would soon be with her to enjoy the break time. Sofia started to walk back to her classroom, which happened to be different from Shin’s after all. He wasn’t in her class at all after her first day.

Before Sofia could even get to the door a hand grabbed her upper arm and yanked her away. She let out a startled yell but was silenced by another big hand over her lips. She went to struggle against whoever had her and ignored her box when it fell to the floor. No matter how much she fought, the assailant was able to take her away from the area quickly.

The hallways changed to the dimmer ones and the classrooms Sofia passed were empty with no classrooms having been taught in them for ages. She remembered now. This was where Yuma had first brought her.

Sofia became even violenter. She kicked backward at Yuma’s shins and tried to elbow him with her one free arm. When none of those options worked, she resorted to her last attempt to be free. She bit his hand hard.

“Ng… You little…!” Yuma went to spin her to face him and slammed her against the wall. There was an audible smack of her skull hitting the solid wall. The force left Sofia dazed and in pain. She was no longer fighting just like Yuma wanted. “Yes, be a good little sow…” One hand released from her shoulder and worked on opening the top of her uniform. Soon there was enough skin for Yuma to bite down on.

Sofia screamed out and got silenced fast by Yuma. Tears welled up in her eyes and started to leak out. He was aggressive and had no mercy when he broke her skin. It burned and hurt a lot. His hand loosened a little on her mouth.

“Sh… in-sa…!” Sofia was cut off by more pain as Yuma bit down in another spot. The fear and pain clouded her mind, but Sofia was able to notice the sound of someone whistling not that far away.

Yuma pulled up from Sofia’s neck and licked his lips. A grin was on his face as he stared down at Sofia. “You’re quite sweet.” He leaned in and whispered in her ear. “A pretty and cute thing like you should be all mine. And in fact...” Yuma grabbed at the blouse and yanked it open more to see her bra. “I can make you mine right now.” He laughed at Sofia’s reaction of turning her head away from him before proceeding to go in for a third taste.

Although it didn’t happen as a large beast tackled Yuma to the ground. More of Sofia’s uniform was damaged as he tried to keep hold of her, but to no avail. Another large creature joined the first in assaulting the vampire. Soon a third jumped in.

Sofia’s eyes moved to the commotion and saw that they were large wolves. She started to take steps backward before soon spinning around and proceeding to run at full speed. It didn’t last long as she slammed into someone and fell onto her butt.

She looked up to see Shin and excitement filled her. “Shin-san!” She went to get up and cling to him, but Shin was already ahead of her.

Shin grabbed one arm and yanked Sofia to him and kept his arm tight around her waist as he glared at Yuma. “You’ve soiled my meal you scum…” Shin signaled with his free hand and even more wolves appeared and joined the others.

Yuma soon got out of the mess and backed up away from Shin’s familiars. He was covered in blood and shredded clothes, his hair also had fallen out of its pulled back style. His breathing was heavy as he continued to back up from the growling creatures. “Fuck… You win this round!” He then sprinted off.

Sofia’s eyes stayed fixed on Yuma. Was he really gone?

Her attention was brought to Shin though as he started moving both of them into one of the old classrooms. Sofia was backed up to a clutter of desks and had to be careful not to fall back due to the impact on the back of her knees. Both hers and Shin’s eye locked. He looked angry.

The blouse Sofia wore was ripped off completely and pain was immediately felt in the first area Yuma had bit her earlier. It was more intense than his had been. After a few moments where only gulping filled the air with noise Shin released and looked at the wound he had made over Yuma’s bite. “He’s made your blood taste somewhat muddy… I don’t like this taste.”

Sofia’s eyes diverted from his as she looked away in shame. “I’m sorry…”

Shin just scoffed and went to lean in again. “Those damn vampires… Ruining anything and everything…” He inhaled the scent of Sofia’s flesh. “You’ll be purified, little rabbit. His attempt at trying to make you his will not work.”

The second area Yuma had bitten was broken into by Shin. He held nothing back as he went about cleaning Sofia’s blood. He was angry. No lowly vampire should touch what he had already claimed as his.

Shin let up and composed himself before guiding his lips to Sofia’s. The kiss was short as Shin dipped his head down to her exposed chest. “I may have been able to take care of that quickly, but that last bit of blood I tasted was sweet, as how it should be. You deserve punishment for letting yourself be captured so easily and not staying by my side when class is out of session.” He gave a small lick to her skin before grabbing Sofia’s left hand and looking at each finger. “Which one should I bite?”

Sofia looked at him wide eyed with her lips slightly parted. Her reaction to his question made Shin chuckle before he examined each finger. He decided on the ring finger and kept it extended out as he pushed the other fingers out of the way. While the plunge in was fine for him, Sofia screeched and tried to yank her hand away which only made things worse.

Shin chuckled and pulled away after licking up the overflowing blood. “Hey, you know only doing that is going to be more painful.” He leaned in and kissed Sofia’s forehead. He looked back at the wound he made as well. “That mark is on your wedding finger.” He smirked and went back to kiss the closing wound. “Think of the scar as a promise to be mine.”

Sofia nodded her head slowly. “Yes Shin-San.”

His eye looked at her with confidence and a smile to them. How this human willingly listened and didn’t question his ground. This girl was one he wanted to keep. The one he felt may actually rebuild his race.

Shin grabbed her jacket collar and yanked her upright. “Fix your clothes. You need to hurry back if you want to eat your lunch in time before class starts again.”

Sofia went to fix her shirt but found it difficult. “Ah, Shin-San, my uniform…” She looked up at him with both sides of the blouse in her respective hands.

He sighed in annoyance. “That damn vampire destroyed it in his attempt to get you?” He let out a growl when Sofia nodded her head. Shin came close to her and grabbed her firmly with a small smirk on his lips. “Then the teachers will just have to believe you went home sick.”

In mere seconds they were outside and Shin changed into his wolf form. The change startled Sofia and she backed away from Shin fast. She didn’t expect to see this.

“Get on my back. This is just my wolf form, stupid rabbit. Hurry, we don’t have all day.”
