baldursgating took all of my time and i’m completely okay with that.

This game is literally something else. Love every single detail about it. (not to mention crying like a child in the end of the story)

But the knowledge?!?! Mechanic of collecting knowledge? Not like just making notes to your log, but literally knowing what to do with things that are here from the very beginning? Genius.

This is exactly the experience that I’ve ever wanted. Exploring space and time, and being truly curious. By the end of the main story I started feeling so lonely as it became clear that some things are inevitable and the only thing you’re left to is acceptance. God, what an idea.

It takes so much skill and flair to create something like that. Not just create, but make the person out there feel this things.

anyways, elden ring.

I spent there 50 hours and reached level 100. Everything looks easy and fun (except for the Mountaintops of the Giants but that’s a different story). I also broke left stick on the controller (and that’s not cool).

I absolutely love how narrative is presented. No cutscenes, no long stories - you choose yourself what you need to know. But there’s also a downside - coming back after several day pause I have problems with remembering what NPC to talk to. Log would be useful. But I guess it’s just me.

As soon as you develop tactics and just crash enemies, everything is fine. but fine isn’t okay you know. I lovehate elden ring and that’s the best thing about it.

note: this is my first soulslike experience and I absolutely lovehate this

the most annoying thing is to lose runes. endless deaths obviously bring up this type of pain and I can’t stand it. it’s always like 6k or more left to bosses and after respawning it’s some shitty peasant coming at me with a shitty axe.

loading screen is the next one. and thanks deaths again.

I am that type of person who prefers close combat to range one. I thought it was a good idea for the sake of ~experience~ NOT to google anything and, well, after 10 hours of trying to defeat Magritte, I gave up and googled what to do.

for me, it’s Elden Ring (yes, really) and Breath of the Wild

I was so surprised to know there’s an ipad version and (as redditors claim) it’s not only decent but super great.
