i had hoped that the problems i had with destroying a world that doesn't exist wouldnt continue after that video but. they have. man i miss old wifies videos ughhhh ughh it sucks so bad. and im happy there are still people who can enjoy these videos but im honestly baffled how. this new video was such a nothing burger. im someone who already has an irrational fear of video game water in general and yet after like 30 minutes this video just wasnt scary. it didnt care at all about creating suspension of disbelief which is, kind of important when the vehicle for the horror is, yknow, minecraft, and worst of all it answered no questions that it raised and ended on a bullshit cliffhanger solely to make you come back for the "thrilling" sequel. not everything needs to be a series not everything needs to have the highest stakes possible not everything needs to be a huge eldritch horror. like maybe it could just be a scary monster in a video game. and i hate to even say this but the doomed yaoi this time around was honestly forced like it felt very manufactured and a little ridiculous.
it just really sucks cuz to me wifies minecraft horror videos are some of the coolest and most inventive things ive seen!!! if you havent seen the stuff he made BEFORE sfawtde you absolutely should, ESPECIALLY my minecraft world is destroying itself. he genuinely is a very good storyteller!!! I just think he may be slightly prioritizing making the most hype-generating videos now over like. good storytelling. which sucks
