Fushiguro Timeline
Something I made for my own purposes but I thought it might be useful for some of you. Feel free to contact me for sources or if you think any amendments need to be made. Features minor speculation but the language should make clear what is speculative and what is not. Focus on Toji.
Current as of: 7/4/2021, Chapter 151. SPOILERS.
Unknown: Toji goes to see Satoru Gojou as a child, recognizing his ability. (Chapter 71)
Unknown: Zen’in Naoya, a child at the time, goes to see Zen’in Toji based on rumors he has heard about him from the rest of the clan.
Unknown: Toji rejects Tsukumo Yuki’s request to study him. (Chapter 77)
Unknown: (may be after or before following two events) Zen'in Toji leaves the Zen'in family and meets Megumi's mother. (Volume 9 Profile)
1996 or earlier: Toji first meets Gong Shi-woo. This may be taken to be the start of his career as “sorcerer-killer.” (Infobook)
2001: Fushiguro Tsumiki is born. Her father is unspecified. (This puts Tsumiki’s current age at approximately 17, assuming Fushiguro was a first year in junior high. Chapter 57)
December 22, 2002: Fushiguro Megumi is born under (?) family name. Sometime shortly after this, his mother dies. It is implied she leaves Toji with the imperative to “Take care of Megumi, okay?” (Chapter 113)
Unknown: Gong Shi-woo meets Megumi sometime after the death of his mother, aiding Toji in taking care of him. Fushiguro Megumi does not remember Shi-woo, nor does he remember his father well. (Infobook, Chapter 79)
Unknown: Zen’in Toji strikes a deal with Naobito Zen’in to ensure his son’s place in the clan in exchange for money. Unclear if this is also the negotiation which ensures his place as clanhead under the condition that Satoru Gojou is dead/incapacitated. (Chapter 113, 138)
Unknown: Zen’in Toji marries and takes the name of his wife. Megumi mentions that this marriage was to Tsumiki’s mother. (Chapter 66, Chapter 59)
2006: Fushiguro Toji takes on the assassination of the Star Plasma Vessel. Three days later, Fushiguro Toji dies. (Hidden Inventory)
Unknown: Fushiguro Tsumiki’s mother leaves Tsumiki and Megumi, who have been living together for an unspecified amount of time. (Chapter 79)
Post-September 2009: Satoru Gojou (19 years) meets Fushiguro Megumi (a first grader, six years old) and begins acting as a benefactor for him and Tsumiki. (Chapter 79)
Unknown: Fushiguro Megumi meets Zen’in Mai and Zen’in Maki through Satoru Gojou. He also meets Noritoshi Kamo. (Q&A)
2015: Fushiguro Megumi enters Saitama Urami East Junior High.
2017-18: Shortly after Megumi enters his third year at Saitama Urami, Fushiguro Tsumiki is cursed and enters a comatose state. (Chapter 57)
2018: Present JJK timeline.
Note: In Chapter 59, Megumi remarks that Tsumiki’s mother and Toji had married before leaving in the first grade. Megumi would be ~six years old in first grade, placing this at 2009, after Toji’s death. If this is a wording issue and meant to imply Tsumiki is in the first grade, this could only barely be feasible in 2006. Take that as you will.
