There are so many smartphones these days and a lot of them are similar in one way or another. However, some phones are truly unique. The Yotaphone 2 was released...
This was my daily driver for a couple months before it shattered. Bottom line: if I could do over, I wouldn't have bought it. There are too many negatives in real life usage that far outweigh the few benefits. The biggest deal (and deal breaker) for me was that I was not able to average a day with it since it's got such a tiny battery. Even after I scoured the forums and fine-tuned the settings for power savings, I was not able to consistently get through a day with this phone, which was a huge let-down coming from a phone that easily lasted two days (Lenovo P780). Even the YP2's biggest selling point, the back e-ink screen, ended up being something I never used that much because it was not too pleasant to look at (the font rendering was inferior to my Kindle Paperwhite), had no backlight, and I quickly got annoyed at the slow response for such basic tasks as swiping to unlock so that I could cycle through the widgets.
