Okay I haven't really made any posts for a while now, mainly because there hasn't been any real changes, and because of my final few exams. Yesterday I went to an end of exams party and it only took a little bit of peer pressure for me to have my first slip up. I went 13 full days, and had a smoke. I regret it so fucking much but that is the truth and I can't hide it. I feel so guilty because of it, but its just another learning curve in my perspective. A slip-up doesn't mean I failed at quitting, it just means that I need to better prepare myself for next time. I don't consider this single smoke as a thing that just sends me back to Day 1. For me, today is still 2 weeks of being quit smoking. In my opinion, making one single mistake does not mean I am not still quit? I used to have a lot, lot, lot more than 1 at a party before I quit, and that is why I quit. My smoking became an addiction that I had absolutely no control over. Now it's something I'm constantly battling away. Yes, I had a slip-up, but no, I have not stopped 'quitting' smoking. I am still quit, and I will still beat it. Now, my lunch break is over and I have to get back to playing cricket! Thanks for the support still everyone.
