It's simple Sherlock! Years ago I came across and felt an immediate connection to the brilliance of Dr. Marshall Rosenberg & his work around nonviolent communication (NVC). It is a constant reminder of how each of us have become experts @ practicing violent communications. It’s not just about the actual words we choose (whether passive/aggressive or in btwn), but it’s also about our intent (the root). Every time we speak it’s to communicate a need…and we ourselves aren’t always clear on what our underlying needs are yet we’re constantly requesting/asking and or expecting/demanding that others meet them!
