First established in April, the plants were a little underwatered. Oop.

Deeper parts dug into the back of it, raised subtrate in the front, and more plants for privacy. Once she outgrows it... which will be a while... she'll be getting a taller tank. Or one of those nice large cubed ones that are so freaking expensive.

I rediscovered my dwarf white isopods when pulling out the old tree cuttings and moving that large log with the vine wrapped around it. My springtails are a little less visible now but still in the soil. I'm going to have to search for a tank with more height than width in the near future but for now, with its newest resident, this is suitable. I'm really, really proud of the how large one of my pothos is getting. That short plant (nearest the 'fallen' wood) is twice the size it used to be but still has that cut off leaf it had since it was shipped to me. My bird's nest fern is shedding a few old leaves but looks healthy still given the tiny leaves growing in their place, though I always worry when I see the dying leaves. Two plants died and the moss browned but I think I was just too inexperienced with those. I'll try again in the future. I really, really, want a new tank with height so I can really fill up the space without worrying my heating lamp will damage anything.

It took an entire year for me to want to draw again and I decided chonky lil cartoony dinos from the Path of Titans game will be good practice to get back on the saddle.
