What a tough question! Umm My Neighbor Totoro and Lilo and Stitch have really comforting soundtracks to me so I’ll go with those!!

1) okay tbh I get crazy happy when people message me at all on this website, but the thing that really tops everything is people referring to me by my name in their tags. like WOW you just put the effort in to find out my name also you saw it on my blog and you remembered like it’s the best feeling, ESPECIALLY WHEN IT’S SOMEONE I ADMIRE HEAPS *side-eyes phil and scarlett*

2) space. Just space. Any aspect. I don’t care. Every single subject I take at school I have selected specifically because I think it will help get me into a course on astronomy or astrophysics or something. Even if I hate the class, ‘Oh,  I should so do specialist maths even though I’d rather stick a fork in my eye than do another maths subject.’ But just space. I mean, it’s so infinite and beautiful and there’s just so much about it. Like galaxies, planets, stars, different types of stars and their life cycles AND HABITABLE PLANETS. OH SWEET GOD YES THERE ARE SO MANY VARIABLES IT’S AMAZING

3) Okay when I was volunteering at Comic-con this year, we had half a billion Star Wars celebrations posters left, so we were giving them to every convention-goer we could find at the end of the day. When we had run out of posters, I saw a little girl, probably five or six, and her dad. Her dad was wearing one of those stormtrooper onesies, and the little girl was running around with a cute little dress on and a lightsaber. So I was like ‘OH GOSH THEY NEED A POSTER’ But we didn’t have any posters left. Now I had a few in my bag, one was for my friend who couldn’t afford to go, the other was for my sister, and another was mine because, as you all know, I am trash. So anyway I grabbed my sister’s poster (pfft she didn’t need it, I’d gotten her a signature from Emma Caulfield, she was set) and ran up to the girl and was like ‘HEY you wanna free Star Wars poster?” and then she beamed and screamed “YES” and oh man she was just so happy and her dad thanked me and they were grinning and I feel super happy just thinking about it. (Also I told my sister that I gave her poster away, but when she heard the story she ‘AWWed’ and said she was glad I gave it to the girl, so everyone was happy in this situation)

4) Cats are the most beautiful creatures to walk the earth, and every memory of my cat before he died is really lovely and happy, even including the time he did the knead-y thing on my aching, appendix-free, ‘literally-just-got-home-from-hospital’ stomach

5) When my sister acts like a lunatic. She acts normal most of the time, and does the shake-head thing when I say something nerdy, but when she acts weird she’s acting insane

your-average-bookworm:1. What's your favorite line from your favorite song? all i can think of are camp songs, so  "it's such a perfect night/it doesn't seem quite right/that this should be my last with you"  from "Linger", a campfire song

2. Absolute favorite character from anything and why? Ben Wyatt or Leslie Knope no wait Luna Lovegood no wait i can't choose there's too many

 I like Ben because he reminds me of myself, introverted and awkward and slightly confused with the world, but he manages to get by somehow. Leslie's passion and optimism shows how if you love something so so much, and you work hard, then what you do will always be worth it. Luna is unafraid and completely honest, and most people can't even be direct with each other. and there's more but you get it, I like fictional characters

6. What food represents you and why? seaweed and rice. simple, not too boring, not too flashy. nice if you like that sort of thing. also very asian.

9. Favorite OTP and why? Ben x Leslie from Parks and Rec because this

1. first impression? oh look she looks vaguely familiar is her name heidi or something? 

4. If you could change your name to anything you wanted, what would your new name be? And why that specific name? i never liked my vietnamese name "thanh nguyen" because it's long and the meaning isn't really me, so i'd make it something simpler. 

6. Name one person that you would date if you were guaranteed that they would say yes when they asked you out. (sorry, but let’s exclude famous people/fictional characters from this one. Just people you know in real life, teehee): i wouldn't. being a counselor for a bunch of 12 year olds who would not shut up about the cabin of boys puts a nice perspective on dating- i.e. it's perfectly fine, but there's no need to make such a fuss about it. 

9. Weirdest art you've seen in person? giant mao zedong portrait at the met? or really any piece of contemporary art at the met, contemporary art is just weird to me.

6. how would the best summer be spent? not studying for the sat (sorry), for me so far it's camp. basically something that forces you out of your comfort zone and helps you grow.

7. say you were stranded in a foreign country, and nobody spoke your language(s). what do you think would be your hardest menial task in the country? bathroom. miming bathroom would be difficult.
