Yorin and the inability to raise their voice. How he physically can't and even if he could he'd be silenced or ignored. The way he internalized it and resigned himself to it.
Anyways... Yorin being ignored after being rescued. Not to the point of isolation or truly being forgotten but it's like an invisibility of their feelings and a refusal to acknowledge what happened to them. The jedi feel at fault and they don't want to fully own up to it they brush it off and call it a sabbatical to spare them the acknowledgement for their own comfort. Dressing it as kindness, as a way to keep them comfortable, but it's really for their own comfort. Yorin can't help but fall silent about it, another silence they have imposed onto them and they are not in any state to fight it or push back. Their voice has been cut off for so long that it comes naturally and without argument. The resentment of it is quiet too, they've never had a voice to use for it. It manifests as lashing out, fear and escape. It becomes a ache and need and yearning to scream just once and not be silenced, to shout the wods they aren't allowed to say and say things they don't have any other way to say. They were left alone with no voice and no one to see their struggle despite being in the room because they didn't want to be another reminder.

Ohohohohooooo!!! Hello! So Yorin is my special guy. He's a jedi master who had a bad time(tm) for 14 years as a knight. After that, he put himself into caring for the younglings at the jedi temple. He has three wonderful children that are his children and they won't hear otherwise. Cross is the oldest and was Yorin's padawan, she pulled him out of a dumpster. And then they found Caleb Dume as a baby. Torr was given to Yorin by a stranger who couldn't handle his force sensitive baby. Torr is Panda's OC but she is Yorin's baby. They're mother and child. The most ever to me.
My favorite between them is Torr as a velcro baby, constantly climbing on mama and clinging to Yorin's fur like a big blue eyed lemur. Yorin adores her deeply beyond anything in the galaxy. She's just like mama and it makes me emotional
Oughhgghgg I really love the thought of Invix bringing Yorin out to actual high society parties as a plus one.
It's the rare time he's allowed to speak without needing permission though they're closely monitored. Yorin has to stay on his arm or at his side during.
Invix likes showing Yorin off like any other splendid piece of his wardrobe or collections. Yorin won't run because they know this is a rare allowance and they don't want to be left alone when he leaves.
