The creature, known as “Ynei” and long revered for its rare albinism and protracted age, was found with its head missing, indicating that it had been poached as a trophy. “This was a despicable, short-sighted act,” MotV Revered Scientist Ravanor Bartek said in a comment to Apex News. “Ynei was a powerful symbol of resilience and aggression, surviving and flourishing in spite of its conspicuous scales and age.
