Monari Wakita redebuts as a lead vocalist for the band YIKO
Former Especia member Monari Wakita will redebut as a lead vocalist for the 7-piece pop-rock + funk-soul band "YIKO".
Their debut self-titled EP "YIKO" is set to be released on 11th of December 2024.
The lead track "Doukashiteru" will be released digitally on Friday, 29th of November 2024. The song "Choutenjiku" will be released the following week on Friday 6th of December 2024.
Monari will be supporting the other lead vocalist Satori, who has formerly been part of the bands THE NAMPA BOYS and Healthy Dynamite Club.
The band also includes guitarist Love Unlimited Shimadan and keyboardist KAYO-CHAAAN who both have supported Monari's solo endeavours as session and live musicias.
YIKO will be making their debut performance at Shibuya LUSH on the 26th of January 2025.
