#yeti!

Hey everyone! Hope you're enjoying the blog. For the next two weeks I'll be out of wifi contact due to traveling in the Himalayas, so no posts upcoming. However, I will return, and will definitely post about any yeti sightings that might occur, so stay tuned!

Relevant to both the Doctor Who crowd and the SWAN/ISH/Johnny one! How often do I get to do this?   Here we go! Yeti Books! I've recently been getting a lot of interest in my Yeti Book, which was sold in hardcopy at Gallifrey One two years ago and for a little while after online.  I'm in a bit of an iffy financial situation right now, so I can't make another blind printing of the books, but I get enough people sad that the digital copy has expired that I thought about seeing if anyone would be interested in receiving the digital Yeti Book for a small donation.    Ideally, I'd like to set up some pre-orders for real Yeti Books, but I need to do some research in my new location and see what the rates are for printing them out.  So for now, would you be willing to have access to a download of a digital for a a few dollars?  Or even, assuming the pricing works out, would you be interested in getting on board with a pre-order of a physical copy, should it be something I end up being able to work out?   Saying you'd be interested isn't a commitment, but I would like you to have at least the intent to be serious! :)  (I also have to figure out the logistics of doing it!) There are, of course, still prints of images from the Yeti Book (as well as other Doctor Who images!) available.  Missing ISH Scenes Back in May when I finished ISH, I thought I was done with this madness!  But a little while later, I discovered some scenes that I had just forgotten to put in.  One was buried under all the in-progress chunks I'd used to construct the story and had just been lost in the shuffle - I had every intention of including it originally.  During the course of ISH 8 (Overdrive), Banshee sees some little thing go on with Johnny, Edgar and a notebook.  There was supposed to be a later continuation of the notebook.  It's small, which is probably why it got lost, but I thought it was important enough to put back in.   It's a little over half-way through in the thick of all the hotel action, but I made this link directly to the start of the new section as well: ISH 8 - Banshee and the Notebook The other missing piece came two chapters later in ISH 10 (Karaoke Soul) and was a fairly long section of Banshee spying on Johnny and Edgar. I originally consciously decided to leave it out because I thought maybe it was too much.  After I read it again when I was going through the remnants of everything in my ISH folder, I thought, "Well, I'll put it in a deleted scene file at the end of all this and just tell people where it was supposed to go in the story."  I decided instead to actually integrate it into the story instead, in further service of the 'different perceptions of people/memories/deciding to be seen' theme.  It's about half-way into ISH 10 after Edgar asks Johnny about some of the weird history of Jimmy. Again, I also made a direct link to it: Spying in the Closet There are still some actually deleted (as in won't be integrated into the actual story) scenes that I'll get together soon, but I hope you enjoy these legit ones!  I definitely enjoyed grafting them back in where they belong! (This was already posted on Tumblr, but if you didn't answer the first time, you can do it now! :D) ALSO, as an informal survey that will have some effect on something you'll see posted here eventually:  What do you associate with "gold"?
