YESTERDAY
Took my mom to watch the movie “Yesterday”. She’s already 58. Idk which part makes me want to burst into a puddle:
1. My mom teary eyed upon seeing John at age 78 in the movie
2. Or the fact there were only 8 people inside the cinema. (It was underappreciated by some, I guess)
3. Or the amount of people who don’t even know Paul or Ringo or George or John :(
4. Or because I wasn’t born in a time where the music was as soulful as theirs
P.S. My mom is a huge beatles fan. Sadly here in PH, the beatles never got the chance to play because the Philippine government refused them to.
