I don’t want to say relaxed, it doesn’t feel relaxed. I’m still attentive and active. It’s just… Yeah, as you said. Softer. Scening with you makes me feel big and competent and reliable. Like I’m kind and good and generous. There’s still catharsis in it, but in a different flavour than with the brattier subs.

yeo announces beat ’em up action RPG The Concrete Sutra #1 for PC - Gematsu
The Friends of Ringo Ishikawa and Fading Afternoon developer yeo has announced The Concrete Sutra #1, the first episode of a beat ’em up action RPG set in a post-apocalyptic world. It will launch for PC via Steam in March 2027.

😅 What's a story or scene you've created that you're a smidge embarrassed exists?
Oh god, I'm not sure. Wait, no, I have one in mind. Probably one of the Congrats scenes but I won't say which one.
🥺 Is there a certain type of moment or common interaction between your characters that never fails to put you in your feels?
Yes! Especially when it comes to Juke; a scene where they try to touch and can't, when they remember how far away from each other they are, when someone reaches out but can't stop reaching out even though what they're reaching for can never be met. I will literally never ever get tired of it.

UHGGGHHHHH. I think I'm generally consistent with my style of writing and characterization. Something I know and have said in the past I do well in, is in my dialogue. I think that's where I'm strongest.
💲Would you ever open commissions?
Explicitly? Probably not, but if someone wanted to commission me I'd definitely consider it. That goes for art as well as writing.
📚 Would you ever want to turn writing into a career?
Sort of! I don't know, it would be cool, but I don't think I'm a strong enough writer to manage that and get published anywhere. I have considered trying to write an original middle grade novel but that's just... an idea. There's nothing really there.
🤯 What's a genre you struggle with as a writer (ex. romance, action, etc.)?
For someone that loves romance, romance. I can work off the beats in the source material but I don't do anything on my own. And because everyone reading is also bringing their knowledge of the source material to it, bc it's fic, then I don't really have to do all that much. I really struggle with it otherwise.
