Can you guess who my fave is????

I don’t know how but i totally forgot you were a bnha fan despite the fact that i know we’ve at least briefly talked about it with each other.

anyway.

So combining these would go basically like this, I guess:

So coffee shop au, usually you’d think one of them works there the other is a costumer or whatever but picture this: they both work there, let’s say it’s a coffee shop right off campus from a college and they both work there to help them, you know, survive their respective college lives. Their schedules don’t line up until their second year, however, so while they’ve briefly met, they don’t really know each other that well.

But then one of them switches to a different schedule early into their second year, due to deciding to take classes they originally didn’t (probably todo bc spite or whatever) so, now they work at the same time. That’s good.

They get into habits when it comes to basically any task they need to do. Making a drink? They don’t even have to look at each other to pass the cup between them within two weeks. Cleaning tables? they have a system for that.

They bump shoulders whenever they pass each other- not like, in the rude way, but just like, an acknowledgment/greeting/whatever kind of thing? As is probably the case with most people he’s- deku’s- close to, any friendship, this one included, end up with a lot of standing close to each other, or high-fiveing over basically nothing, or- when they’re on breaks- knocking there knees together when sitting nearby. Stuff like that.

The more in sync they are with work, the easier it is for them to hang out on breaks and, as time goes on, outside of work all together. They realize, hey they’re in the same dorm, so they walk to work together, and probably- most definitely- sometimes- a lot- hold hands, bc why not, right?

Unfortunately, despite how none of this is really a super big deal, or anything to think a lot of, all that casual- innocent- physical contact is a new and slightly overwhelming thing for one of them (hint it’s todo the poor boy)

so overthinking things happens.

and then spilled hot coffee happens.

at which point a discussion happens that basically goes. “this is a new for me” “if you were uncomfortable you could have said so. I would stop.” “but i wasn’t???????” “ah”

yeah. that’s all i got.
