Squirrels - love em or hate em?
I have very mixed emotions about squirrels. I think they are cute, little furry creatures like this little yellow Thai squirrel. They are interesting to watch. My grandmother even had a stuffed one on her wall, that had been lovingly taxidermied by my uncle - her son-in-law. Here's the problem: They are also disease and flea infested rodents. I never really thought of them that way until driving down the road a number of years ago, I saw one squirrel eating a dead squirrel on the road. I had to come back that way about 20 minutes later, and was appalled when I saw that the feasting squirrel had also been smashed by a car and was now being drug off the road by another squirrel, presumably to be consumed as an appetizer before going back for the first squirrel to meet his unlucky demise.
