ougi would be a fucking amazing stand-up comedian actually. there's the obvious route of doing a partnership and being the funny man to straight man but i bet they could do really good solo acts too. letting their chronic unseriousness and trickiness go free. think of it. they'd not just have jokes and satire but they'd satirize the form itself. satirize the show, stand-up comedy as a genre. they'd show up 5 minutes late to their own show on purpose by accident on purpose (you can't tell which it is. are they good at improvising or was it really planned. later they confess they haven't prepared a script for the show. even later after that a bunch of index cards fall out of their sleeve and onto the stage, oops you caught me. all the cards are blank). they'd make you feel like a total ass. they'd have amazing bits calling out members of the audience. ougi would be fucking kickass at stand-up comedy and the only thing stopping them from making it a thing would be that at the end of the first show they would say "i'm quitting stand-up comedy now goodbye everyone have a good night" and never do another show again.
