1. what specific symbolism do you carry behind the name asmodeus, if any? since typically asmodeus is either/both the king/prince of demons and the representation of lust, are the other deadly sins included in this? are others named in heaven mirroring this?
2. who are all (or most, whoever it is you have as a part of the au!) the members of heaven/hell? do they have any specific roles/what is the hierarchy?
apologies if this is way too much i just think this is all super super interesting and im genuinely invested in the mechanics of how things work in heaven/hell, thank you in advance if you answer and i cant wait to see more content for this au!

1. SO about ha. I specifically chose Asmodeus as his analog because I had a running joke about karkat fucking his weed guy. it DOES NOT get deeper than that, like I said this a parody of harlequin novels so karkat gets ass. I also needed hal to have a certain level of power over sollux so that's why he's a prince. dirk is also still his brother here, making him a prince as well, the representation of pride. UNFORTUNATELY that analog turned out to be lucifer himself so. sorry dirk. I also have one for wrath (meenah/Sathanas), and if jane were to ever fall shed be mammon, greed. the rest are tbd
- Dave is just your base archangel he used to be much more important but he kept getting his ass demoted. haha cringe
- after much deliberation sollux is a familiar, randomly gets assigned a human every few decades or so
- jane is a throne and as such is incredibly judgemental
- jake is a seraphim but god damn does he not act like it. really and truly could not give less of a shit about what is happening at any given time
- june is a virtue, not much to her, really nice gal, force of nature yadda yadda
- vriska is a power/authority, could take it or leave it, prone to fucking shit up, really cannot stand dave for personal reasons
- terezi is a fury which basically translates to demonic bounty hunter in my head
- look i KNOW echidna is from Greek mythology and not christianity but I can dream dammit. I added jade in her for another reason but it fell through but I got too attached to get rid of her so I just gotta like. make up shit for her to do theologically speaking. mother of monsters baby. that's a metaphor she just has a lot of wolves. those are her babies. she's also dave's ex he's the reason she's down there
