Tom doesn’t own a single pair of jeans.  When he was about sixteen, he discovered slacks and never went back.  Even in the middle of Texas summer, he refuses to wear shorts.

Sounds like an interesting start.  Where do you want to take the story?

Valerie (Val) Heart is a professional bartender.  She loves creating new types of drinks and makes everything from fruity light fair to stuff that will burn a hole in your stomach.  But, she also keeps things close to the chest, so most people don’t realize just how passionate she is about the craft. Creating a personalized drink for someone is her way of declaring friendship.

Hector Morales is certified tired™ all the time.  He’s a writer in that he stares at a blank page for days on end and finishes the night before an editor’s deadline at 3AM.  More than once he’s gotten the note “great when intelligible”.  This also means he can get rather testy for about a week afterwards.  Luckily he makes up for it with apology donuts.

Yes! I love it! I am here for it! (I’m not sure about the ‘save the earth from communism’ unless you’re setting it during the Cold War as a deconstruction of some kind)  But yeah! Dragons!

Adam and Tom don’t look that much alike to the point where Adam convinced Tom he was adopted until Tom was about five.  He’s never quite gotten over it, and will bring it up during petty arguments from time to time. 

Oh cool.  I’ve never read The Mortal Instruments, so I know nothing about shadowhunters, but it sounds like fun!  What’s her name?  Do you have a story planned?

I’m going to stick with You Ain’t Seen Nothing Yet, because it’s what my brain has been on.  But if you’d rather me talk about fandom OCs, here’s some random facts and stuff.

Adam Michaelsen has a deep, deep fear of flying.  It’s why it’s been such a strain on him and his girlfriend since he lives in Texas and she lives in LA.  But, they’ve made it work over the years. Adam is self employed and so takes as many weeks off as he can so he can drive to see her.  Or, she comes to see him when she can.
